Ultra-Low Reflectivity in Visible Band of Vanadium Alumina Nanocomposites

The high-temperature annealing effect of a V2O5/Al2O3 bilayer on the reflectivity visible band was studied in present work. It found that V2O5 (200 nm)/Al2O3 (30 nm) sample (A-0) has nano-granular surface morphology without definite crystalline phase. reflectance A-0 overreaches 60% as wavelength is larger than 650 nm, and its minimum (20%) occurs at ~500 nm. After situ treatment 750 °C for 30 min, triclinic AlVO4 phase appears while remains (sample A-30). A-30 well suppressed comparison with especially long range. Its approaches 5% nm wavelength. speculated appearance new nanophase main reason decline reflectivity. Extending time to 60 spectrum, morphology, are almost same. These results can be helpful applications vanadium alumina nanocomposites environments.
